Case Study 4

Our international client owned a residential property and wanted to transform it into a high-end barista coffee shop. However, undertaking such a conversion presented multiple challenges, including navigating complex regulations, ensuring a functional yet aesthetically appealing design, and maintaining strict quality control throughout the build. Additionally, the client’s demanding schedule and frequent travel meant they could not be on-site to oversee the project, making expert management essential to avoid delays and costly mistakes.

ProjectWise provided full project management, working drawings, interior design, and quality control services to ensure a seamless transition from house to coffee shop. By producing precise, regulation-compliant working drawings, we minimised errors that could lead to costly rework, ensuring that contractors had clear instructions from the outset. Our interior design team worked closely with the client, presenting mood boards and 3D concepts that aligned with their vision while also considering functionality, customer experience, and branding. With the client often working abroad, we took the stress out of decision-making by providing regular updates and taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The completed project delivered a stylish, high-end barista coffee shop that perfectly balanced aesthetics and functionality. Thanks to our meticulous planning and hands-on project management, the conversion process was smooth, with no unexpected delays or cost overruns. The attention to detail in both construction and interior design ensured a premium finish that reflected the client’s vision, creating a welcoming space for customers while also being highly practical for staff. Through our expertise, we transformed a residential property into a thriving business, allowing the client to focus on their wider goals while we handled the complexities of the build.
